Colts Robert Mathis to make a special appearance at this year’s “Pulling for Wishes,”
Amy Chiappe, Inflight Manager at Republic Airways is here to talk about the 6th annual “Pulling for Wishes” airplane pull presented by Republic Airways coming up Saturday, April 23. The event benefits the Indiana Children’s Wish Fun.
Republic Airways is proud to announce the sixth annual “Pulling For Wishes” Plane Pull will be Saturday, April 23, 2016, at the Republic Airways hangar near Indianapolis International Airport. The event, benefiting Indiana Children’s Wish Fund (ICWF), runs from 9 a.m. until noon and will feature food, music, and kids games and activities. Teams will compete to pull a twin-engine jet aircraft 15 feet. Special appearances by the Indianapolis Colts Pro Bowl Linebacker Robert Mathis, Purdue University President Mitch Daniels and other celebrities will be on hand.
Last year, the Plane Pull raised more than $360,000 to benefit ICWF, which grants wishes to children ages 3-18 suffering life-threatening illnesses. ICWF has granted over 3,200 wishes to Indiana children during the past 32 years. Wishes include trips to Disney World, meeting celebrities, shopping trips, home computers and much more.
