Person shot, killed, in 6th fatal shooting since Friday

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Police are investigating a fatal shooting in the 3200 block of Campbell Ave.

According to IMPD, they were called to the scene around 5 a.m.

The man was found dead in his car, but the car wasn’t registered to him. He was pronounced dead on the scene after he was shot at least once in the upper body.

The car was parked in front of a home but it is unclear if the victim lives in the area.

This is a sixth fatality in a shooting since Friday in Indianapolis.

The person’s identity is unknown. Police have not released any suspect information.
