Residents in Colorado Springs dig out after April snow fall

As of Saturday night, all roads in the Pikes Peak region were back open.  Also, all airlines are DIA were operating on Monday and all runways were open.

The region was pounded with snow on Saturday night through Sunday morning. Some areas got more than 20 inches of snow.

  • Central Colorado Springs: 5 inches
  • Northern Colorado Springs: 11 inches
  • Monument: 18 inches
  • Rockrimmon: 15 inches
  • Rye: 20 inches
  • Woodland Park: 24 inches

Luckily no fatalities or injures were reported by the Colorado Springs Police Department and Fountain Police Department.
