Stranger plays ‘Taps’ in front of police headquarters to honor slain officer
COLUMBUS (WCMH) – The Columbus Police Department was treated to the kindness of a stranger on Sunday.
Staff at police headquarters heard something unusual outside, and when they looked out the window they saw and heard a man playing Taps in front of the building.
Detective Howe with Columbus was touched by the gesture, calling it “pretty incredible.”
The police department thanked the unknown man on their Facebook page.
