Person in critical but stable condition after far east side shooting

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — IMPD says the person critically injured in a shooting on the far east side of Indianapolis Tuesday evening was involved in some type of disturbance with known individuals, which led to the shooting.

Officers were called to 30th Street and German Church Road around 7:15 p.m.

Police confirmed to 24-Hour News 8 that the victim is in critical condition but stable condition.

They said they are trying to determine what started the incident and who actually shot the victim. They said the suspect fled the scene prior to the officer’s arrival.

Police said detectives are working with witnesses.
