Hundreds celebrate Earth Day in downtown Indy
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Hundreds of people celebrated Earth Day in downtown Indianapolis.
Military Park hosted the annual Earth Day Indiana Festival on Saturday.
Guests learned about taking care of the environment.
As part of Indiana’s bicentennial celebration, people also heard about animals that are native to the Hoosier state.
Many folks took home a free tree to plant, and there was a clinic for children to learn more about the Earth.
