British astronaut runs London Marathon in space
LONDON (WISH) – A British astronaut successfully ran the London Marathon in space.
Astronaut Tim Peake ran the London Marathon from the International Space Station (ISS) Sunday.
Peake ran 26.2 miles strapped to a treadmill, at the same time as the real race on Earth. Peake didn’t set any speed records, but he is the first male astronaut to ever run a marathon in space. He finished in 3 hours and 35 minutes.
