CARMEL, Ind. (WISH) — A Carmel man is preparing himself and others to compete in “American Ninja Warrior.”
Jason Haas is the owner of Hoosier Heights, a gym in Carmel.
He originally opened it as an unusually fun place to work out, but it molded into the concept of “American Ninja Warrior.”
The gym now has four athletes competing in the competition this week.
“Even when you do the training right, you get injured,” Haas said. “Just overuse, over using some muscles, so it’s a process. You’ve got to really be smart, be dedicated and know that it’s going to take you awhile.”
Indianapolis is one of six cities chosen to be a part of Season 8 of the hit reality series.
The full course will start going up on Monument Circle on Wednesday.
