Indiana State Fair announces first 4 of 17 concerts for 2016

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The first four of 17 concerts to be part of the Indiana State Fair this year, have been announced.

Tuesday, the musical acts were announced. They will be part of the Free Stage lineup Aug. 5 through Aug. 21.

Each night of the fair, a free concert with paid fair admission will be available.

The first four shows include:

  • Wednesday, Aug. 10 – Happy Together Tour, starring: The Turtles feat. Flo & Eddie, Chuck Negron, Gary Puckett & The Union Gap, The Cowsills & Mark Lindsay, and The Spencer Davis Group.
  • Friday, Aug. 12 – 38 Special
  • Saturday, Aug. 13 – The Bacon Brothers¬†
  • Monday, Aug. 15 – Blues Traveler¬†

Tickets are now available online at a discounted rate of $8, plus transaction fees on the Indiana State Fair website. Tickets can also be purchased at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum Box Office at the discounted rate. Tickets purchased at the gate are $12.
