High water rescue, golf-ball size hail in Kansas, lightning in Oklahoma

(WISH) – Indiana was not the only state to be hit by severe weather Tuesday. Storms blew across the plain states as well.

Wichita, Kansas experienced thunderstorms that dropped heavy rain and large hail.

Residents reported seeing hail as large as golf balls in some places.

In addition, residents in Willard, Kansas also experienced flooding.

Firefighters evacuated at least four homes Tuesday night, after they were caught in flooding from a heavy storm.

Firefighters had to pull residents out of their home, saying the water was so deep they needed a boat to get out.

No one was injured in those situations.

In Oklahoma City, severe storms brought lightning in the area.
