The brain of WWE wrestler Chyna will be donated to science

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The brain of WWE wrestler best known as Chyna, will be donated to science.

Chyna’s whose real name is Joan Laurer, will have her brain donated to study chronic traumatic encephalopathy.

Her spokesman said her brain will be examined by Dr. Bennet Omalu. He was the first to document CTE in the brain of a pro football player.

Researchers said CTE develops after repeated hits to the head, and it can only be diagnosed after someone dies.

Chyna’s cause of death is under investigation.

Police said there was no signs of foul play.

She was 45-years-old.CNN contributed to this report.
