Anderson couple arrested on numerous drug related charges

ANDERSON (WISH) – An Anderson couple was arrested on numerous drug related charges Wednesday afternoon.

Troopers from Indiana State Police said they arrested both Rex Bryan, 42, and Kathrin Bryan, 41, around 12:30 p.m.

Police said they started an investigation in the Lafayette area, which led them to the residence in the 2500 block of east 7th Street in Anderson. They said they went to the home around 9:30 a.m. and spoke with the couple.

After further investigation, a search warrant was obtained and police said they searched the home around 12:30 p.m. They said they found  about four pounds of marijuana, and a laboratory to extract tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) from raw marijuana, which is marijuana wax. They said the marijuana found seized has a street value of $12,000, and the marijuana wax street value is $5,000.

The couple was arrested and charged with seven counts. Both were brought to the Madison County Jail.

Police said they are still investigating.
