PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – DNA evidence has linked a man to a bizarre incident in which he is accused of kissing and licking a womans neck as she was in bed.
Brandon Bradley Bell is charged with one count of first-degree burglary and two counts of first-degree sexual abuse.
Portland Police responded to a residence on Oct. 5, 2015 and learned that a woman was asleep inside a detached bedroom. Her 8-year-old daughter was in bed with the woman and her 9-year-old daughter was in a separate bedroom.
According to court documents, the woman woke up to the smell of cigarette smoke. Bell is accused of putting his hand up the woman’s shirt.
The mother was able to get her children to safety. Eventually, a family member told Bell to leave.
DNA collected from the woman’s neck and a cigarette butt found at the scene both matched Bells, according to court documents.
He is being held at the Multnomah County Detention Center.
Earlier this year, he was charged with stalking and trespassing. Details of that case were not immediately available.
