60-year-old man stabbed on near north side
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Police are investigating a Thursday evening stabbing on the city’s near north side.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said a 60-year-old man is headed to the hospital after a stabbing that occurred just after 5:30 p.m. Police said his condition is serious but stable.
The stabbing occurred in the 1800 block of Broadway Street.
Police said a suspect, also a 60-year-old man, is in custody.
Police said the stabbing could possibly be self-defense.
