Gary man arrested in Lafayette burglary
LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – Lafayette police made an overnight arrest in a burglary on the city’s east side.
Quintrell Nesbitt, 24 of Gary, was arrested after police said he broke into a home in the 700 block of Stinger Street Thursday around 3:00 a.m.
Police said Nesbitt knew the homeowner.
No injuries were reported.
Nesbitt was taken to the Tippecanoe County Jail. He faces charges for burglary while armed with a deadly weapon, carrying a handgun without a license and resisting law enforcement.
