IMPD asks for help to find wanted murder suspect
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Police in Indianapolis are asking for help finding a suspected murder suspect.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department detectives say they are looking for 21-year-old Devion Tooson from Indianapolis. Police believe he played a role in the shooting death of 20-year-old Michael Banyard on April 23.
Police say they responded to the 9000 block of East 39th Street for a person shot. They found Banyard died from multiple gunshot wounds.
The suspect and victim are believed to have had an argument before the shooting. An arrest warrant was issued for Tooson after police learned about his involvement.
Tooson should be considered armed and dangerous.
