Trade the Mother’s Day bouquet for a planter

This Mother’s Day, skip the store bought bouquets and arrange a planter for your mom that lasts all season long! Patty Schneider, Horticulturist, Indianapolis Museum of Art, has a few tips for making a beautiful planter!

• The IMA gardens are a great way to spend Mother’s Day! IMA is open Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.

• This year, the gardens feature a record-number of more than 70,000 spring blooming bulbs, offering a spectacular display of color.

• The IMA gardens are included with general admission ($18 for adults, $10 for children 6-17, free for children 5 and under) and always free to visit for IMA members.
