Victory Field raises Indianapolis 500 flag in honor of IMS night

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – In honor of Indianapolis Motor Speedway night with the Indianapolis Indians Friday, the Indianapolis 500 flag will be raised Thursday.

The flag was raised in left field on the West Maryland Street side of the stadium, across from the JW Marriott hotel.

The flag will be taken down Sunday, May 29 and replaced by the POW flag out of respect for military services on Memorial Day.

The first 2,500 fans will receive a baseball giveaway. A fireworks show will follow after the game.
