Divas’ Day Out: Shopping for a good cause

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – One local event is giving residents the opportunity to do some shopping and help a worthy cause in the process.

Jennifer Wharton stopped by Daybreak to talk about Divas Day Out.

Divas Day Out is an event thought up by Wharton and her two other siblings in an effort to raise the money for their mother.

Wharton says she recently learned that her mother is a candidate for a double lung transplant after coming down with chronic obstruction pulmonary disease and emphysema.
