Study: E-cigarettes poison children under 6

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A new study published Monday morning shows children under six are being poisoned by e-cigarettes.

The study said the number of children getting sick is increasing rapidly.

14 children per month got sick from e-cigarettes in 2012 according to the study. That number has increased to 223 children per month in 2015.

The study shows one child died and others suffered from things like comas and seizures, but the majority ended up OK.

The results are so staggering that the lead researcher said, “This is an epidemic by any definition.”
