Kroger recalls frozen vegetables over Listeria concerns

(WISH) — Kroger has recalled frozen vegetables after the supplier reported possible Listeria contamination.

Simple Truth Organic Mixed Vegetables was sold in Kroger or Kroger family stores in more than two dozen states, including Indiana.

Anyone who purchased the product is asked to return it to the store for a full refund or replacement.

The recalled 10 ounce vegetable bag has a sell-by date of Dec. 2016 and Jan. 2017. The UPC No. is 0001111036738.

No illnesses have been reported as a result of the product.

It was sold in the following states: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and Wyoming.

Last week, 42 other brands of frozen vegetables were recalled due to Listeria concerns.
