Monticello police arrest man connected to gas station robbery

WHITE COUNTY, Ind. (WLFI) – Monticello police have arrested a man accused of holding up a gas station Sunday morning.

41-year-old Jeremy Terry of Burnettsville was arrested and taken to the White County Jail. He is being held on a $30,000 bond.

The robbery happened just after 9:30 a.m. Sunday at the Admiral Gas Station in the 800 block of North Main Street in Monticello. Police said Terry showed a gun to the clerk and demanded money. He then took off with the cash in a red Ford Explorer.

Police said tips from the public led them to Terry, who now faces a preliminary charge of robbery.
