Noblesville police searching for robbery suspects
NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (WISH) – Officers say they are investigating after reports of a robbery at the AutoZone located at 14515 Mundy Drive in Noblesville.
The Noblesville Police Department said a caller contacted police and said two suspects came into the store and confronted two store employees. The caller said both suspects were armed with handguns and were demanding money from the store’s cash registers and safe.
Police said the employees provided the suspects with an undisclosed amount of cash, then the suspects fled the store running toward the northwest. Police said they searched the area with a K-9 unit, but ended up lifting the search after they were unable to locate the suspects.
One of the suspects is described as:
- Dark-skinned black male
- Black hair
- Approximately 18 to 25 years old
- Approximately 5’6″ tall
- Very thin build
- Weighs approximately 130 pounds
- Light stubble above upper lip
- Wearing all black, possibly a hooded sweatshirt or a zip-up sweatshirt
- Carrying a silver revolver handgun
The second suspect is described as:
- Hispanic male
- Black hair
- Approximately 16 to 18 years old
- Short and thin build
- Wearing a sweatshirt that was grey in the middle and reddish-organish on the outer parts with a zip-up front
- Possibly wearing a reddish-orange scarf over the area of his mouth
- Believed to be carrying a small black handgun
