One dead, one critical after northeast side crash
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – One man was killed and a woman was critically hurt in a single car crash on the city’s northeast side.
The crash happened just after 2:30 a.m. near East 53rd Street and Keystone Avenue.
The car ended up on a sidewalk right next to a light pole. Police believe speed was a factor in the crash.
The northbound lanes on Keystone between 52th and 54th are open, but the others were closed as crews had to cut the driver out of the car.
