The 11 Indiana awards totaling more than $1 million include $782,200 awarded through a partnership agreement with the Indiana Arts Commission for programs that benefit state residents.

Among the other Indiana recipients are the Harrison Center for the Arts in Indianapolis, receiving a $75,000 grant. Bloomington’s American Folklore Society will receive $50,000. The Legacy Foundation in Merrillville and Lafayette’s Tippecanoe Arts Federation will both get $30,000 and South Shore Arts Inc. in Munster will get $20,000.
