Allegations of child molesting lead to arrest of Wolcottville man

WOLCOTTVILLE, Ind. (WANE)  A Wolcottville man has been arrested on two preliminary charges of child molesting after items implicating him of the crimes were found in his home.

Officers with the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department and the Wolcottville Police Department served a search warrant on May 6 at the home of Mark Leonard Baker, 60, located at 103 West County Line Road, after authorities had received information alleging he was involved in child molesting, child exploitation and child solicitation.  The officers seized various electronic devices and a camera which provided evidence that resulted in Baker’s arrest.

According to a news release from the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department, the investigation is not yet finished and Baker could face additional charges.
