IndyCar driver visits Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — An IndyCar driver made a pit stop at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St. Vincent Wednesday to visit pediatric patients and clinicians.

Verizon IndyCar Series Driver Carlos Munoz passed out coloring books and Racing For Kids baseball style caps to children’s hospital rooms as part of Racing For Kids. Munoz also signed autographs.

Munoz made his Indycar debut in 2013. He took Indycar by storm by placing second in the Indianapolis 500. He also earned the Sunoco Rookie of the Year award in 2014.

Racing for Kids was founded in 1989 to raise awareness and funding for health care needs of children. They are celebrating 25 years of service.
