NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (WISH) – The Noblesville Police Department arrested one man early Saturday morning accused of attempting to break into vehicles.

According to police, a call came in just after midnight Saturday morning of reports of a suspicious subject, possibly breaking into vehicles in the 900 block of Maple Avenue.

The call mentioned that the person was walking around the area trying to open doors of parked vehicles.

After arriving in the area, police spotted a man matching the suspect description in the 900 block of Hannibal Street.

Police said when an attempt at first contact with the suspect was made, he was half-way in a 2008 Jeep Wrangler.

It was at this point that a short foot chased began. However, the suspect, 18-year-old Justin Hadley, was apprehended shortly thereafter.

Hadley was then taken to Riverview Health Hospital to be treated for injuries sustained during the apprehension process.

After treatment, Hadley was taken to Hamilton County Jail where he was preliminarily charged with theft, unlawful entry into vehicles, resisting law enforcement, and illegal consumption of alcohol.
