Nate Walk honors Trapuzzano, benefits foundation

AVON, Ind. (WISH) — Family and friends came together Sunday to remember the life of soon-to-be father shot and killed two years ago on Indy’s west side.

The second annual Nate Walk was held in Avon.

It was put on by the Nathan Trapuzzano Memorial Foundation. Trapuzzano was killed while on a morning walk in April 2014.

He and his wife were expecting their first child.

The foundation created in his memory now works to support children who have lost a parent.

Live entertainment and food trucks were on hand at Sunday’s walk. The event is planned each year in central Indiana and Pitssburgh, where Trapuzzano grew up.
