Authorities: Selfies link man to armed robbery case

LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) – A Lafayette man accused in an armed robbery last month now faces formal charges.

According to court documents, a cellphone found at the scene revealed several selfies of 32-year-old Jerome Williams.

Prosecutors have charged Williams with two counts of robbery, one count of conspiracy to commit robbery and one count of theft.

Court documents show Aaron Scott, who was charged last month for his alleged involvement in this case, told police Williams drove the SUV used in the robbery of two guns at the complex.
