FBI conducts investigation at Fort Wayne home

 FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Federal agents are conducting an investigation at a home on Fort Wayne’s north side.

Several unmarked police cars were parked around a home in the 7000 block of St. Joe Road.

FBI agents were moving in and out mid-afternoon Tuesday. Federal agents removed several boxes from the home, and a box truck and van was backed up to an attached garage.

It’s not clear, though, what was in the boxes or what the agents were doing at the home. FBI spokesman David Crawford said he could not provide details about the investigation and would only confirm it is an investigation.

The Indiana State Police SWAT team as well as officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department, were also at the home in a back-up capacity.
