Local educators surprised with ‘life-changing’ honor

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Local teachers and principals were recently surprised with a “life-changing” honor.

Four IPS teachers and two principals received recognition for their extraordinary efforts in the classroom.

As part of the Hubbard ‘Life Changing Teachers” honor, the six educators were also awarded $25,000.

Mayor Joe Hogsett and IPS Superintendent Dr. Lewis Ferebee were in attendance to provide their congratulations.
