500 Festival Queen crowned

SPEEDWAY, Ind. (WISH) — Caitlyn Foye of Newburgh has been crowned the 2016 500 Festival Queen.

The announcement was made at the 500 Festival Breakfast at the Brickyard, presented by Midwestern Engineers, Inc.

Foye is a sophomore at Butler University where she is studying biology with a minor in chemistry. She is one of 33 young women who were selected for the 2016 500 Festival Princess Program, presented by Reis-Nichols where they serve as ambassadors for the 500 Festival.

Foye is a graduate of Castle High School.
