54 arrested in prostitution sting in South Carolina
SIMPSONVILLE, SC (WSPA) – 54 different people were arrested after a two-day prostitution sting in the Simpsonville area.
Simpsonville Police say undercover officers used social media sites to find prostitutes and to advertise sex for money as part of Operation Good Time.PHOTOS: Full list of arrests
28 prostitutes and 26 men soliciting prostitutes were arrested on 64 different charges including 11 for drugs and 1 for a firearm.
In addition, 8 people had outstanding arrest warrants. Chief Grounsell says he believes this is the largest prostitution bust in the history of Simpsonville.
The Greenville City Police Department assisted with the arrests.
