Students disciplined after video of girl having sex with 25 boys posted to social media

FORT MYERS, FL (WCMH) – The entire incident was reportedly recorded and took place after school had ended.

According to WINK, police reported 25 males were seen entering the South Fort Myers High School bathroom after school had ended for the day.

The principal of the school said the male students were having sex with a female student in the bathroom.

“The incident this week should not be a reflection on our combined efforts, administration, students, and teachers, to keep our building and students secure and safe,” South Fort Myers High School principal Melissa Layner said in a statement to parents.

“There’s always security guards in our hallways,” student Erin Bollinger told WINK. “I just don’t see how that could’ve happened.”

Investigators said a cell phone was confiscated and placed into evidence, and according to students at the high school, the entire incident was filmed.

“There’s girls who saw the video once and it is just so disturbing to them,” said student Casey Winn.

The school district says the students involved have been disciplined and according to the sheriff’s office, the girl’s mother is not planning to press charges.
