Victory Field moves to next round in ‘Best of the Ballparks’ competition

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Victory Field is moving to the quarter-finals in the Ballpark Digest “Best of the Ballparks” competition.

Victory Field, home of the Indianapolis Indians, is asking the public to vote for them. The next round of voting ends on Wednesday at 10 p.m.

The format is similar to a traditional college basketball tournament bracket. In the Minor League Baseball Triple-A division, Victory Field’s opponent this round is Coca-Cola Park home of the Lehigh Valley Ironpigs.

Victory Field is recognized every year as one of the best ballparks in baseball. In 2015, the ball park was ranked No. 6 in Baseball America among 160 Minor League facilities across the U.S.

The winners in the competition will be announced late June.
