Woman taken to hospital after being shot in back
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – IMPD said a woman was taken to Eskanazi Hospital Tuesday evening after being shot in the back.
Police were told the shooting occurred at Washington Street and Belmont Avenue on the city’s west side around 8:45 p.m. and they were investigating in the area.
The victim was listed in stable condition. No further information was immediately available.
