SPEEDWAY, Ind. (WISH) – Pippa Mann crashed at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the second time within a week during Indy 500 practice.
On Friday just before 12 p.m., Pippa Mann slid and hit the wall out of Turn 4.
24-Hour News 8’s Chris Widlic said that it looks like the accident only involved Mann’s car and that she looks OK.
After the crash Mann gave the medical crew a thumbs up signaling she wasn’t hurt. She was taken to the as a precaution and was released shortly after.
Manns crew only has 24 hours to get the car back up and running for Sunday’s 100th running of the Indianapolis 500.
