Gates open for 100th running of Indy 500

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Gates to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway are open for the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500.

The cannon, signifying the opening of the gates, was shot off just before 6 a.m. Sunday morning.

Nearly 100 people were already in line awaiting the opening of the gates.
