Washington Park East Cemetery service honors fallen vets
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A Memorial Day service was held Monday morning at the Hoosier Patriot Memorial inside Washington Park East Cemetery.
Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Centers hosted the service.
It started at 9:30 a.m. with patriotic music by the 38th Division Quintet.
Gov. Mike Pence and Adjutant General of Indiana Major General Courtney Carr spoke at the ceremony, which included a 21-gun howitzer salute by the Indiana National Guard.
