Boy demolishes $15,000 LEGO statue an hour after it goes on display
NINGBO, Zhejiang Province, China (WCMH)-It took an artist three days and $15,000 to build a LEGO statue, and a kid just moments to topple it.
A statue of character Nick Wilde from the movie Zootopia went on display at an expo in China on Sunday, and was on display for just one hour before a kid knocked it over, according to state-run CCTV.
The artist, who CCTV identified as “Mr. Zhao,” accepted the parents’ apology for the actions of their son – thought to be about four or five – and did not request compensation.
The child did not intend to break it,” Zhao said, as quoted by CCTV.
