CUMBERLAND, Ind. (WISH) — The recent death of a nine-year-old in Cumberland is now being classified as a homicide case.
Cumberland Police Chief Michael Crooke said the death of Anthony Harmon, Jr. is being investigated as a homicide.
Crooke said his department will meet with the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office on Friday to discuss the case.
Harmon was shot in the head and killed on May 27. At the time, police said they were not looking for a shooter.
No charges have been filed.
