Arson Investigators on scene of a Fort Wayne house fire

 FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Arson investigators are trying to figure out who set a house on fire just East of Snider High School. Police dispatch said firefighters were called to the 3500 block of Walden Run around 4:15 Friday morning.

The fire was under control around 4:45 a.m. Police dispatch said that no one was hurt in the fire but they don’t know if anyone lived there.

Firefighters said the front door area sustained heavy damage. Crews also cut up the roof.

This could be the 9th arson investigation in the area, including fires in the Blackhawk and Oakhurst neighborhoods.

The Fort Wayne Fire Department said no firefighters were injured in the incident.
