American’s hitting the road again, May was weakest month of hiring in 6 years

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – American’s are hitting the road again, and stocks are much lower than expected after a recent report.

Drivers are back on the roads partly because gas is cheaper than it has been in years, and the reviving economy is making people more willing to spend their money.

According to the New York Times, people are focused more on memories that cannot be taken away from them, opposed to tangible goods that expire and wear out.

In other business headlines, only 38,000 jobs were created in May, which was way short of expectations.

It was the weakest month of hiring in six years.
