Join investigation in Parke Co. leads to citations, arrest

PARKE COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) – During a joint investigation on Tuesday with Parke County Sheriff’s Office and Danville Metro Police Department, four people were cited or arrested on drug charges at the Raccoon State Recreation Area.

Parke County Sheriff’s Office reported the joint investigation lead them to a camper at Raccoon.

During a search of the camper, paraphernalia, syringes and controlled substances were found.

Amanda Steagall, James I. Brown and Jackie Orme II, all of Indianapolis, were all cited and released for possession of paraphernalia.

Tony Butler, 30 of Indianapolis, was arrested and taken to the Parke County Jail for possession of a syringe and possession of paraphernalia.

His bond was set at $10,000.
