Honey Boo Boo’s Mama June now on a strip club tour

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK (WCMH) – Mama June from the TLC show “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” is now on what she’s calling a “strip club tour.”

According to her verified Twitter account, she made a stop last weekend at a Baltimore strip club. This weekend, she’ll be appearing at a strip club in Oklahoma City with shows also planned in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

Mama June is not performing. Page Six reports the appearances are just two-hour-long meet and greets which include walking the red carpet and posing for photos with her fans.

TMZ reports she’ll make $20,000 for the four appearances.

Mama June, whose real name is June Shannon, starred in the hit reality TV show “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.” The show was canceled in 2014 after a report by TMZ claimed Shannon was dating a convicted child molester.

Shannon denied the report, but TLC canceled the show and issued a statement saying, “Supporting the health and welfare of these remarkable children is our only priority. TLC is faithfully committed to the children’s ongoing comfort and well-being.”
