Making science entertaining is something Bill Nye “THE SCIENCE GUY” has been doing most of his life. On June 10th, this nationally renowned scientist, engineer, comedian, author and inventor will be joined by winners of the 24th annual ExploraVision program, the world’s largest K-12 science competition. This amazing program honors the best and brightest students our nation has to offer, and is sponsored by Toshiba and administrated by the National Science Teachers Association.

Today on Indy Style, Bill Nye chats with Tracy live from the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., and explains the importance of science and to give these amazing students some recognition in their hometowns!ABOUT BILL NYE:

Nye has won seven national Emmy Awards for writing, performing, and producing “The Science Guy” Show. He has written five kids’ books about science, including his latest title, “Bill Nye’s Great Big Book of Tiny Germs.” Nye is the host of three currently-running television series. “The 100 Greatest Discoveries” airs on the Science Channel. “The Eyes of Nye” airs on PBS stations across the country. Bill’s latest project is hosting a show on Planet Green called “Stuff Happens.”
