Gun stock soars after Orlando tragedy
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Shares of gun companies and makers of ammunition soared Monday after the deadly shootings in Orlando.
Stocks in Sturm Ruger, Smith and Wesson and Vista Outdoor, a maker of ammunition, also gained.
Stocks of gun companies typically rise after shooting attacks amid anticipation that the incidents could prompt some Americans to buy weapons for self-protection.
