INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department detectives have arrested three people for their alleged role in the fatal shooting of a man in March.
Detectives arrested 27-year-old Kameron Martin and 21-year-old Corey Spurlock in the shooting death of 70-year-old Joseph Klein III at the Allied Liquor Store. The fatal robbery happened in the 5200 block of East 38th Street just before 2 a.m.
Police arrested Anthony Breazil Tuesday after asking the public for help in finding him.
Martin was arrested for murder, robbery resulting in serious bodily injury, and unlawful possession of firearm by a serious violent felon.
Spurlock was arrested for murder and robbery resulting in serious bodily injury.
As of Tuesday morning, both men are being held in the Marion County Jail.
According to police, on the day of the robbery, three men in dark clothes came into the liquor store and pointed a gun to the head of one of the employees. Police said three employees were in the store at the time of the robbery.
Klein was shot several times and was transported to Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition. However, Klein later died as a result of the shooting.
Police said that the three suspects fled the scene on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.
