Severe weather possible Wednesday

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Another round of active weather is in play across central Indiana, Wednesday.

Much of central Indiana is under a slight risk for severe thunderstorms.

A cold front will move into the state this afternoon, sparking scattered showers and storms. A few of the storms could become severe. Severe weather threat should diminish by early evening.

Severe threats will be large hail and damaging winds. Potential for flooding exists with tropical air in place, along with many areas picking up a substantial amount of rain, Tuesday.
